Scarf – Theodore Ralli

Scarf inspired by the painting by Theodore Ralli, Le Pain Bénit (After the Mass), from the Greek Collection of the A. G. Leventis Gallery.

Elements from the Orthodox church floor and motifs from the traditional costumes were used to create new compositions, having in mind how they would look printed on fabric and how the folds would create different forms.

This scarf was designed on the occasion of the temporary exhibition Theodore Ralli’s Greece held at the A. G. Leventis Gallery, Nicosia (30 November 2021 – 20 February 2022).
