Reflections (ENG-GR)

This book was published following the exhibition Reflections held at the A. G. Leventis Gallery, Nicosia, from 23 November 2024 to 9 March 2025.

This publication is based on the perspective of postmemory, which explores the relationship between the ‘next generation’ and the personal, collective and cultural trauma experienced by the ‘previous generation’, 50 years after the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in July 1974. It presents the work of 9 artists selected among the 134 remarkable entries submitted to the Gallery’s ‘Call for Art – Contemporary Art Competition’.
