This book was published in conjunction with the temporary exhibition George Polyviou Georghiou: Female Nudes held at the A. G. Leventis Gallery, Nicosia, from 16 May to 2 September 2019.

A temporary exhibition devoted to the great artist of the first generation of Cypriot artists, George Pol. Georghiou, whose work is directly connected to the people and history of Cyprus. In comparison to the larger body of Georghiou’s work, his small number of female nudes, with some exceptions, belong to the private sphere of his life. 

The way George Pol. Georgiou's colour scheme approaches the feminine theme, changes the scenery in the first generation of Cypriot artists.
